Why I'm Learning Python

Okay, so as you might know I'm learning Python, I obviously have some reasons for it...
Here they are.

1. Research, you probably know that I'm making my own scripting language, I need to know what's out there and to see how others do it. I don't want to make some mistakes that the coders of Python did :P
2. Scripting, I like the idea of writing a useful script in like five minutes that does what you need it to do instead of writing a whole program.
3. High-level, Pascal is medium level, I want to learn a high level programming language(not my main purpose because Java is high level :P)
4. Collaborations, I'm most likely not going to collaborate with others in Pascal because it isn't very popular, but since Python is one of the more popular programming languages I'm thinking that I might be able to collaborate with people :)

That's about it :P

FPC featured! :O

Free Pascal Compiler was featured on sourceforge last week. They deserve it, nice job guys :3

Ok, so anyone interested in learning Pascal has two options:
1. download the FPC compiler and use notepad++ to edit your source code or something(not the greatest option)
2. download the Lazarus IDE which is officially supported by the FPC team. (100% recommended :P)
3. ask me to make something

Ok, I'm kidding about the last one. I'm thinking about making something for PHP though :P

Ok, so you now have a compiler, how do you learn it?

Bizarre

Coders' Shed ~ awesome new members

Well, I collected a team from this great site http://scratch.mit.edu/. I'm really looking forward to the public sharing of the site :) I myself am horrible at php I know html and slightly know php. I know enough javascript to get by ;P SO i'm really relieved that some people asked to join :D Anyway it helps the release date xD

Lazy day... Developing Coder's Shed. Just finished most of the CSS and basic text of the thing. In about a week the hard part comes, PHP :O

Yeah, so I have google and figured that there is no harm in creating a development blog. So... here it is. This blog will give updates on programs I'm writing, review cool programs, my progress in learning a certain language etc...
